Krosaki AMR Refractarios S.A.U., a fully owned subsidiary of the Japanese group Krosaki Harima Corporation, has announced that it has closed the acquisition of the refractory producer Refractaria S.A. located in Siero Asturias, Spain on November 30th, 2018.

Refractaria S.A. is a reference supplier of alumina products shaped and unshaped refractories dedicated to the steel, cement, foundry, aluminum, ceramics and petrochemical industries.

This acquisition makes a perfect match with the growth strategy of the company and it will allow the combined company to supply full refractory solutions to its entire customer base.

The combined company will serve a full range of refractory products in more than 60 countries.
